The proposal is understood as the opportunity to work on the topic of the limit between the rural and urban realities. The rural - urban continuum about which the Chicago School started discussing and Lefevbre himself.
We consider the intervention area as a clear example of the spreading of the limits that is happening in the post-industrial cities. Cities that were extended in ints territory moved by the settlement of industries (Brunet), creating these in their sourrundings population nucleus linked to them. This fact, makes this areas be understood as polycentric complex, composed by different focus all connected between them. this kind of nucleus in the Vaque Country, awakened a community feeling provoked by being working at the same place ( the little Russia, Fabrica Brunet).
The intervention gives us the possibility to work on this transition from a hard infustrial landscape to a new more updated reality, in which the production does not require of this big scale and isolation, and, in the other hand, the urban centres due to its condition of metropolitan areas, does not have the need to be invasive and overwhelming. These handicaps let make room for the third element, the nature that once existed or has managed to survive.
It is the balance between this three element what we think it has to be achieved in this type of scenarios, and is towards what we believe the future development of the cities has to head. Skip the condensation of a unique point, expand, adjust and create micronucleus interconnected along the territory, making use of the resources and communication developtment of which we dispose.
